Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Seasonal Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will work with the Culinary team to ensure high-quality food and friendly service for guests.

The role supports production, line, pantry and buffet operations, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, cleanliness, and teamwork. You’ll handle cold food preparation, maintain proper rotation, and adapt to a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cold food items for line, pantry and production areas.
• Maintain pars and production level estimates; ensure leftovers are used and stored properly.
• Keep refrigerators and work areas clean and orderly; ensure proper food rotation.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of buffets; fill production charts.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing Each Day

As a Prep Cook, you will be working with our Culinary team to ensure consistent high quality food and customer service is delivered. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of cold food items for the line, pantry and/or production area of the main kitchen. You are also responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining proper pars of production level estimates, ensuring leftovers are used and properly stored, maintaining the cleanliness and order of refrigerators and work areas, ensuring proper food rotation, assisting with the set-up and breakdown of buffets, and correctly filling out production charts.
