Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen in Mississauga is seeking a kitchen prep role to support the Chef in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will prepare ingredients, assist with parboiling, washing dishes, and ensure stock levels are ready for service.

Ideal candidates are reliable and able to keep the kitchen clean and orderly, set out ingredients before shifts, and help the Chef run efficient service. This position is on-site at our Mississauga location.

Responsibilities

• Quick at vegetables
• experienced in busy Kitchen Enviornments
• Keeping the kitchen clean and orderly
• Ensuring all ingredients are in stock for the Chef to complete their menu
• Washing cutlery and dishes
• Parboiling foods, allowing the Chef to prepare the menu more efficiently
• Seasoning and preparing the necessary ingredients for cooking
• Preparing some dishes such as salads or other less complex menu items
• Setting out all the Chef’s ingredients before each shift and refill as necessary
