Job summary

Island Lake Lodge is seeking a Hotel Operations Housekeeper to support housekeeping at Lizard Creek Lodge & Slopeside Lodge. You will ensure timely cleaning, linen cycles, and restocking to deliver high guest experiences.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a solid commitment to safety. Training is provided for hospitality tasks and teamwork is essential to support operations.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable working in a varied and fast paced environment.
• Experience working in housekeeping and hospitality is an asset (training provided).
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide room attendant duties for Lizard Creek Lodge & Slopeside Lodge.
• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms; including linen changes, interior windows, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, dishes, and restocking.
• Assist with cleaning common areas of the hotels as required.
• Inform supervisor & manager of product levels to ensure adequate stock.
• Ensure a standard laundry service for two resort hotels.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, load, and unload bedding & towels.
• Report maintenance issues as found.
• Know, understand, and follow the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies SOPs and safety practices.
• Complete other tasks as requested by management to ensure smooth operation.

• provide room attendant duties for Lizard Creek Lodge & Slope Side Lodge
• perform daily cleaning of guest rooms; including all linen changes, interior windows, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, dishes, and restocking
• assist with cleaning common areas of the hotels as required
• inform supervisor & manager of product levels to insure we are adequately stocked
• ensure a standard laundry service for two resort hotels
• sort, wash, dry, fold, load, and unload bedding & towels
• report maintenance issues as found
• know, understand, and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• be trained in, know, understand, and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• complete other fair and reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotels
