Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is hiring a Night Audit Attendant for Lizard Creek Lodge in Fernie. In this front desk role, you'll be the first point of contact for our world-class guests, ensuring their experience is exceptional.

Responsibilities include managing reservations, coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping, and upselling additional services. Candidates should have physical stamina and a commitment to safety, with hospitality experience considered an asset.

Job description

Join our Hotel Operations team as a Night Audit Attendant for Lizard Creek Lodge. This is a front desk, guest facing position where you will ensure the first line of contact with our guests is running smoothly. If you enjoy being part of a team, ensuring our world class guests have the best experience possible, and have a strong passion for mountain culture, this is the role for you.

Expectations & Responsibilities
  • complete hotel reservations, maintain current bookings and enforce cancellation policies
  • complete guest check-ins, room reservation modifications, and guest check-outs
  • coordinate with the maintenance and housekeeping team to ensure guest inquiries are handled in timely fashion
  • sell lift tickets, ski/board repair packages, snow lessons, dinner reservations, spa appointments, and any other hotel or ski packages as needed by the business and/or guests
  • know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • produce reports as required for housekeeping and maintenance out of central reservation system and other systems
  • be trained in, know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
  • complete other fair and reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotels
Qualifications
  • Physically fit and able to perform somewhat demanding work
  • Comfortable working at a desk for multiple hours at a time
  • Experience working in hotels and hospitality is an asset (training provided)
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
