Job summary

Alberici Constructors, Ltd. in Burlington, Ontario is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the technical and commercial development of projects from opportunity assessment through award and handoff to operations.

The role collaborates with estimating, operations, engineering, procurement, and business development to create integrated project solutions focused on clear scope, reliable pricing, and practical execution plans.

Qualifications

5-10 years of progressive experience in estimating, preconstruction, construction operations, engineering, or project management.
Professional fluency in English and Korean is required to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Experience developing estimates and execution plans for heavy civil, industrial, or complex projects.
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, or related field.
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, quantity takeoff, and cost modelling.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction and estimating activities from conceptual planning through final bid review.
Define project scope, assumptions, exclusions, and pricing basis across teams.
Develop and validate estimates using takeoffs, data, and market input.
Plan subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and pricing validation.
Coordinate constructability reviews and execution strategies.
Lead pursuit schedules, procurement timelines, and milestone plans.
