Colliers Project Leaders Canada is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join our Construction Solutions team. You will dig deep into design and constructability options to optimize client projects, bringing hands-on design, cost estimating, and construction experience to the owner’s side.

You will engage with owners, architects and engineers to optimize cost, schedule, quality and constructability, while leading design-assist teams and developing CMPs for permitting and logistics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Architecture or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in design, cost estimating and construction.
• Professional Engineering or Architecture qualifications preferred or PMP willing to obtain within one year.
• Knowledge of building codes, health and safety regulations, and regulatory permit requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide preconstruction leadership to deliver value-based design and constructability options for projects across Canada.
• Engage in design meetings with owners, architects and engineers to optimize cost, schedule, quality and constructability.
• Review drawings and specifications for constructability, value engineering, and sequencing options.
• Lead the development of Construction Management Plans to support permitting and site constraints.
• Lead design-assist teams to assess major renovations and equipment upgrades with minimal disruption.
