Job summary

Bedard Resources is seeking a Receiving/Shipping Clerk for our client in Contrecoeur. You will receive, inspect, store materials, unload trucks, manage data entry, prepare shipping documents, and assist with inventory counts. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and adherence to safety procedures.

This on-site position offers diverse responsibilities, forklift operation, and growth in a dynamic warehouse environment with routine documentation and logistics tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a store, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to perform material handling tasks and move equipment and supplies.
• Ability to perform administrative duties and data entry.
• Ability to follow procedures, instructions, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, and store materials in designated locations.
• Receive and unload trucks and ensure shipments match transportation documents.
• Enter required data for receiving materials and managing outgoing goods.
• Provide materials to requesters and prepare shipping documentation.
• Prepare, label, and package items for shipment and complete all required paperwork.
• Store and move materials using forklifts.
• Perform inventory counts and compare physical quantities with system records.
• Conduct various research tasks, follow-ups, and corrections related to materials, reports, and orders.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages as needed.
• Operate a company van inside and outside the facility to deliver and collect mail and packages.
• Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized condition and perform various maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Perform any other related duties as required.]
