Outdoor Living Manufacturing Ltd. in Penticton, BC is seeking a skilled Moulder Setup/ Maintenance Technician to join our growing cedar manufacturing team.

You will read architectural blueprints, configure spindles, install cutterheads, and calibrate feeds to ensure accurate lumber profiles. With 1+ years in woodworking, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair machinery to keep high-speed production running.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine finish dimensions.
• Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of machinery and maintenance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate moulders, including spindle and cutterhead configuration.
• Run test pieces and verify profiles against templates.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace worn components.
• Diagnose faults related to vibration, snipe, or finish quality.
• Repair or replace belts, bed plates, and pneumatic parts to keep production moving.
