Woodbridge Pallet in Woodbridge, ON is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in pallet/wood processing, strong mechanical knowledge, and a hands-on approach. This full-time role offers afternoon shifts, overtime, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain saws, nailing machines, conveyors & more.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & basic electrical issues.
• Weld & fabricate for equipment repairs/mods.
• Service forklifts & material handling gear.
• Perform building repairs & support installations.
• Follow all safety procedures including LOTO.
• Keep accurate maintenance records & manage spare parts inventory.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Woodbridge Pallet, you'll play a key role in keeping our production equipment running safely and efficiently. From performing routine maintenance to troubleshooting and repairing machinery, your hands‑on expertise will help minimize downtime and support a smooth manufacturing process in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Maintain saws, nailing machines, conveyors & more
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & basic electrical issues
• Weld & fabricate for equipment repairs/mods
• Service forklifts & material handling gear
• Perform building repairs & support installations

What You Bring

• 3 plus year's experience in manufacturing, sawmills, or pallet/wood processing preferred. Forklift License an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Physically fit for a dusty, fast‑paced setting
• Team player with strong problem‑solving skills
• Flexible schedule and available for afternoon shifts + emergency repairs

What We Offer

• $24-$26/hour + overtime-depending on experience
• 44 hours/week | Mon-Fri, afternoon shifts with occasional weekends
