Job summary

CenterLine (Windsor) Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Machine Tool Builder to assemble, bench and floor-assemble components and precision tooling for custom welding equipment and robotic cells.

You will coordinate activities under a supervisor, set up manual lathes and small mills, and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget. Travel in Canada, the USA, and Mexico is required.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma required.
• Mold assembly, tool assembly or tool maintenance experience required.
• A solid understanding of the functionality of welding and metal working equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Machine, fit, and assemble component parts and precision tooling, with focus on quality and timeliness, to build special-purpose machinery and robotic cells.
• Coordinate mechanical build, bench and floor assembly, and integration of robotic work cells as directed by supervisor.
• Set up and operate machine tools (manual lathes, small mills) to support assembly.
• Lead projects from small to large in scope and from medium to high in complexity.
