Job summary

Woodward Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time manufacturing technician to support the transfer of work for site closure. You will perform automated and manual assembly of electronic circuit boards, set up precision equipment, and ensure quality by inspecting assemblies per IPC standards.

The role requires reading drawings, document control in ERP, and teamwork to meet KPIs. Wage rate disclosures indicate progression based on experience, with up to physically demanding tasks like lifting up to 60

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent educational background.
Experience in electronics manufacturing and IPC standards helpful.
Familiar with reading engineering drawings and parts lists.
Accurate and detail oriented with ability to lift 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic circuit boards manually and automatically per drawings.
Set up and operate SMT and related production equipment.
Solder, rework non-conforming assemblies and apply conformal coating as required.
Inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to drawings and standards.
Enter labour data into ERP and maintain production documentation.
Support meeting departmental KPIs and collaborate with the team.
