Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join our Electronics division in Calgary. You will contribute to the assembly, soldering, and quality testing of specialized electronic components and cable assemblies used in inline inspection technology.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced soldering abilities, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to safe, high-quality production in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Strong soldering abilities with SMT and through-hole components.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail for assembling small parts.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electronic schematics and symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise soldering of SMT and through-hole assemblies.
• Solder, assemble, and route custom cables and wiring harnesses per specs.
• Conduct functional and continuity testing on components and sub-assemblies.
• Use proprietary software to perform diagnostics and basic programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized, static-safe workspace and follow safety standards.
