Job summary

Arbor Memorial Inc. is recruiting a full-time Pre-Planning Sales Representative for Complexe Funéraire J.D. Garneau in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. You will contact families, promote pre-need funeral planning, and coordinate community seminars to build client relationships and trust.

You will work with the Sales Office to meet revenue goals while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Work from various lead sources, contacting and visiting client families to assess pre-arrangement needs.
• Promote and explain the Pre Need Funeral planning program to clients.
• Follow up on referrals, walk-ins and mail drops; promote after-care program.
• Present to community organizations and arrange seminars and mall shows.
• Coordinate seminars with guest speakers and sponsors; ensure contracts are completed and filed.

About This Role

Complexe Funéraire J.D. Garneau, located at , Trois-Rivières, Quebec is currently recruiting a full-time Pre-Planning Sales Representative to join our Sales Office. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and providing funeral and cemetery pre-planning by contacting and meeting clients to pre-arrange their funerals and discussing pre-arranging cemetery products and services in the community.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Status: This is a current vacancy and we are actively seeking to fill this position.

Key Qualifications And Demonstrated Abilities

• Registration in or completion of funeral pre planning and cemetery pre planning courses in an accredited post-secondary institution would be considered an asset.
• Passion for customer care demonstrated in previous professional experiences and a strong discipline for working in a customer-centric service organization. Experience in business development, sales and customer success is an asset.
• Willing to demonstrate active community involvement and establish a positive profile of the cemetery and funeral home within the community.
• Highly focused on achieving and exceeding sales results and ensuring full compliance of all federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with Cemetery Operations, Funeral and Home Office Centres of Excellence to achieve Company revenue goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Working various lead sources, contacting and visiting client families to assess pre-arrangement needs.
• Communicating the Company’s Pre Need Funeral planning program.
• Generating lead sources by following-up on all referrals, walk-ins and mail drops, working with at-need families to promote the after-care program.
• Presenting to community organizations, arranging and hosting seminars and mall shows, notifying agencies and special groups about the pre-need funeral program and reviewing all files.
• Establishing and organizing programs and seminars at the funeral home, with guest speakers and arranges co-sponsors of the seminars and programs.
• Ensuring all contracts are accurately completed, required signatures are obtained, copies are forwarded to appropriate parties and that files are maintained.
• Participating in funeral home and cemetery staff and management meetings, communicates regularly with all funeral home and cemetery staff to obtain and provide information on the families served or new lead sources.
• Other duties or special projects as required.
