Arbor Memorial is hiring a Funeral Director Assistant for Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario. You will provide outstanding service to families, supporting Funeral Directors in all aspects of funeral services, including greeting families and coordinating transfers.

• Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting families upon their arrival at the funeral home.
• Assisting with removals, transfers of decedent to the funeral home or crematorium as required.
• Assisting with the preparation of various rooms, during visitations, various rituals, funeral services, burials and related tasks.
• Driving funeral vehicles when required by the funeral home.
• Performing general building upkeep and vehicle maintenance tasks such as washing, interior care, cleaning, polishing, and scheduling service care plans.
• Other duties or special projects as required.

About This Role
