Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring Pre-Board Screening Officers for the Region of Waterloo International Airport in Kitchener, Ontario. You will be the last line of defense in ensuring the safety and security of travelers.

We offer hourly pay between $19.61 and $28.90, comprehensive health benefits, paid training, and uniform supply. The role includes screening travelers, controlling access, responding to alarms, and supporting emergency operations at the airport.

Qualifications

• Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Clean criminal record and ability to obtain RAIC security clearance.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be located near Kitchener, ON or willing to relocate before starting.

Responsibilities

• Screen the travelling public and their belongings.
• Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and report events, illegal acts or violations.
• Participate in emergency operations within the airport.
