Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Pre-Board Screening Officer in La Baie, Quebec, to ensure the safety and security of the travelling public. Key responsibilities include screening passengers and their belongings, controlling access to restricted areas, and responding to alarms.

The ideal candidate must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, possess a high school diploma, and have a clean criminal record. Candidates must be 18 years or older and communicate in French, with English as an asset.

Qualifications

• Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident.
• Have a clean criminal record & eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance).
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Screen the travelling public and their belongings.
• Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations.
• Participate in emergency operations within the airport.
