Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Pre-Board Screening Officer in Iqaluit, Nunavut. You will screen travellers and belongings, control access to restricted areas, and respond to alarms to maintain airport security.

Qualifications

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean criminal record and eligible to obtain RAIC security clearance.
• 18 years of age or older.
• English verbal and written proficiency.
• Must be located near Iqaluit or willing to relocate before starting.

Responsibilities

• Screen the travelling public and their belongings.
• Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and report incidents or violations.
• Participate in emergency operations within the airport.
