Job summary

Bison Transport Inc. is seeking a Company Driver with tractor trailer experience based in Edmonton, AB. This highway role requires staying out for five days at a time and averaging about 2,300 miles per week.

The candidate will load and unload at customer sites, perform live unloads in Calgary and Saskatoon, switch trailers, and return to Edmonton with on-time arrivals. A valid Class 1/AZ license and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Company Driver with tractor trailer experience required.
• Valid Class 1/AZ license required.
• Reefer experience is an asset.
• Must haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb or more.
• CP Rail experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at customer location Sunday by 1900 to load and depart on time.
• Depart Calgary for live unloads at 0030.
• Drop empty trailer and pick up loaded trailer in Calgary, then Saskatoon with a route stop to reset.
• Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton by noon on Tuesday.
• Arrive at customer location Tuesday by 2130 to load and depart for Calgary (0030).
• Drop empty trailer and pick up loaded trailer in Calgary, then Saskatoon with a route stop to reset.
• Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton by noon on Thursday.
• Arrive at customer location Thursday by 2130 to load and depart for Calgary (0030).
• Drop the empty trailer and return to Edmonton; additional regional work may be available upon request.

• Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, depart for Saskatoon with a stop on route to reset.
• Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton arriving before noon on Tuesday
• Arrive at customer location Tuesday by 2130 to ensure smooth loading and timely departure
• Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030
