Job summary

Health Style Dental in Regina, Canada, is seeking a Dental Practice Lead to oversee daily operations, drive patient care quality, and lead a team of dental professionals. The role emphasizes budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with health regulations to support practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or college diploma in business or office administration.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Dental Practice Lead or Dental Practice Manager.
• Experience in supervisory/management roles overseeing scheduling, finances, inventory, and personnel.
• Strong business acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience with dental software and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Willingness to work varied hours and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the team to improve productivity, engagement and retention of patients.
• Drive implementation of company programs, policies, and procedures.
• Support recruitment and interviewing of dental professionals for best fit.
• Manage daily staffing costs and payroll/accounts receivable; oversee billing processes.
• Ensure clinic compliance with provincial health regulations and safety policies.

Your Impact:

Operational Planning & Execution:

• Build and execute plans to improve daily operations of the practice ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence and develop strategies to increase organic patient growth.
• Constantly review clinic environment and key business indicators toidentifyproblems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to team.

Compliance & Patient Safety:

• Partner with Compliance, DC Institute and Human Resources to ensure the clinic is fully compliant and meets the provincial health regulation standards.
• Manage and oversee all compliance programs within the practice, while leading by example to ensure patient safety is a top priority.
• Work in accordance with the practice's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and in compliance with applicable provincial legislation.

Leadership:

• Lead, coach and motivate the team to improve productivity,engagementand retention of patients.
• Drive the implementation of company programs,policiesand procedures by supporting action plans and directly motivating the team to meet operational and companyobjectives.
• Support recruitment efforts to interview dental professionals and assess for best fit.
• Manage and analyze daily staffing costs and payroll administration; oversee accounts receivable process.

About You:

• University or College Diploma in business or office administration.
• 3-5years experienceas a Dental Practice Lead or Dental Practice Manager isrequired.
• Experience in a supervisory or management role contributing to business operations including staff scheduling, finances,inventoryand people management.
• Strong business acumen and extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Strong commitment to maintaining health regulation and operational standards.
• Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs.
