Job Summary

We are seeking a Practice Manager to lead our team, ensure smooth operations, and provide top-quality care while fostering a supportive environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Set expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage staffing and recruitment.
  • Handle job changes in Dayforce.
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency and quality care.
  • Implement and maintain SOPs.
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, and facility maintenance.
  • Communicate policies and coordinate team activities.
Financial Management
  • Develop and monitor the practice budget.
  • Analyze financial reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
Client Relations
  • Build strong client relationships and address concerns promptly.
  • Enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate communication between clients and veterinarians.
Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee safety measures.
  • Prepare for inspections and audits.
Marketing & Community Outreach
  • Implement marketing initiatives and engage with the community.
  • Promote the practice through events and outreach programs.
Strategic Initiatives
  • Develop and execute business plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and improve strategic initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience.
  • Experience in healthcare is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Client-focused with critical thinking and financial skills.
  • Proficient in IT and practice management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration preferred.
