Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC or eligible for registration.
• Entry-level to 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong programming, data management, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with CAD systems and engineering drawing standards.
• Ability to use standard industry engineering design and analysis software.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal English communication in a professional environment.
• Ability to work independently with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering calculations and prepare bills of materials per codes and specifications.
• Assist with basic design activities and technical documentation.
• Perform calculation checks and routine surveys under supervision.
• Support projects through data analysis, programming and problem-solving.
• Recommend design or process improvements to project outcomes.
• Participate in engineering practices using established precedents.
• Utilize CAD, software and analytical tools to support activities.
• Collaborate with teams to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets.
• Maintain engineering records and project documentation per standards.
