Job summary

Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Power Engineer to ensure safe operation and maintenance of our building systems, ice plant, and utilities. You will monitor boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, and automation, perform preventative and corrective work, and coordinate with contractors to support events.

Qualifications

4th Class Power Engineer certification and related technical credentials.
3+ years in preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC and building systems.
Experience with building automation and maintenance-management software.
Valid driver's license; First Aid and equipment certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

Inspect, monitor, operate, maintain and troubleshoot building systems.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and document work orders.
Coordinate with contractors and trades and provide technical information.
Respond to emergencies and safety incidents as required.
