EPCOR Technologies Inc. is hiring Power Electrician 1 in Edmonton, Alberta for the Transmission Operations team. The role involves working with protective relays, breakers, switchgear, transformers, and other substation equipment to ensure reliable operation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will join a skilled team dedicated to safety and performance. The position is full-time, onsite, with a wage range of $63.09–$68.04 per hour, and includes apprenticeship pathways for 4th and 3rd year

Formación

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Journeyman Power Systems Electrician certificate or Electrical Engineering Technologist willing to indenture into the Power Systems Electrician program may be considered.
• 3rd or 4th year Power System Electrician apprentices that are previously indentured may be considered based on substation work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining tools and equipment.
• Compiling reports.
• Keeping accurate records.
• Reading schematics and diagrams.
• Performing operational checks and acceptance tests.
• Conducting substation switching.
• Installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing high voltage apparatus.
• Assisting with other substation related duties as required.
