Job summary

SPECTRAFORCE is seeking a Power Apps Developer to design, build, and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions for Commercial Banking. You will deliver Canvas and Model‑Driven apps, automate workflows with Power Automate, and model Dataverse data while ensuring RBAC, DLP, and governance standards are followed.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, integrate with SharePoint Online, Teams, Excel, and Outlook, and contribute to ALM, security audits, and production support in a regulated

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering business solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of Power Fx for complex forms and logic.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 and data sources.
• Familiarity with RBAC, DLP, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven) aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and support Power Automate workflows with appropriate controls, exception handling, and logging.
• Design and manage Dataverse data models, including relationships, business rules, validations, and security roles.
• Integrate solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Excel and Outlook.
• Apply role-based access control (RBAC), data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environment strategies.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, audit, and risk requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and reviews with business stakeholders.
• Document solution designs, data models, controls, and support artifacts for audit and operational readiness.
• Support application lifecycle management (ALM) using managed solutions, deployment pipelines, and environment promotions.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and controlled enhancements to existing applications.

Role Mandate:

• The team is looking to add an additional Power Apps Developer to support providing tools and technologies for Commercial Banking. The Power Apps Developer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform within a financial services environment. This role focuses on automating and digitizing business processes while ensuring adherence to platform performance best practices as well as risk, security, and governance standards typical of a highly controlled organization.
• Team Structure:The team consists of around 7 people. There is a high degree of collaboration with the supported business teams and end users and some collaboration within the team, but the work is primarily independent.
• Role Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model?Driven) aligned to business and regulatory requirements

• Must Have Skills:5+ years of experience delivering business solutions with Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong, recent, hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and dataverse
• Proficiency in Power Fx and experience designing complex forms, validations, and logic
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and data sources
• Solid understanding of security concepts, including role?based access, least privilege, and data protection
• Experience working within regulated, enterprise, or financial services environments
• Ability to balance speed of delivery with control, stability, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with business and technical stakeholders
• Nice to Have Skills:Experience with Project Management concepts, both in waterfall and agile environments
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery models
• Experience supporting apps used by front?office, operations, or risk/compliance teams
• Power Platform certifications (PL?100, PL?200, or PL?400)
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Interviews:2 rounds, first with the HM then with the team, with a possibility of a 3rd round including a technical assessment.
