Job summary

S3 Group Ltd. in Medicine Hat is seeking a Professional Painter to join our production team. The role involves powder coating, sand blasting, washing, application, and baking using an industrial monorail system.

You will work with hand tools, grinders, air sanders, and paint guns, operating paint ovens and the air compressor. Reading blueprints and following production instructions is essential for quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 2 years of paint and finishing experience; preference given to powder coating
• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• The ability to understand production instructions and drawings
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Understand how powder coat painting works
• Operate the Blast Booth
• Operate hand tools, grinders, air sanders, and paint guns
• Operate all facets of the paint ovens
• Operate the air compressor
• Read and comprehend blueprints
• Maintain good housekeeping practices
• Ensure quality, as outlined in our Quality Manual, is inherent in all tasks performed
