Job Description

We are seeking ideal candidates who have experience in powder coating and have a strong understanding of coating techniques and equipment.

Job Duties
  • Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate materials and equipment.
  • Assembly for powder coating process, operating spray gun, loading metal pieces onto paint-line hooks, unloading metal pieces after painting, and general shop cleaning.
  • Perform chemical balancing to ensure proper mixtures for powder coating.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and tools.
  • Complete verification paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Practice good housekeeping and safety procedures and adhere to all company policies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience as a powder coat painter.
  • Proficiency in powder coating techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and coating operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a related field is a plus.
  • Physically fit: frequently lift up to 50 lbs., must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.

  • Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
  • Vision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.

  • Interpret, analyze, research, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust, and fumes.
