SUMMARY:

• To provide prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet.
• Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers.
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers with a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data.
• Accurately accounts for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions.
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.

MERCHANDISING:

• Ensures proper documentation with respect to customers' receipts and return of goods.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.).

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Ensures loss prevention standards are followed.
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

GENERAL:

• Presents a proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
• Complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Follows all store policies and procedures.
• Maintains standards of housekeeping and store image.
• Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
• Organization and neatness.
• Efficiency in processing customer orders.

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong computer and register skills.
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
