Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

• To provide prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet.
• Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with all customers.
• Keep the checkout area neat and organized.
• Greet all customers with a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scan or enter product data.
• Manage cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately.
• Ask for the customer's PC Optimum Card during each transaction.

MERCHANDISING:

• Complete proper documentation for receipts and returns.
• Maintain designated areas through facing, signing, and labeling.

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Follow loss prevention standards.
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

GENERAL:

• Present a professional image according to the Uniform Policy and Dress Code.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Maintain standards of housekeeping and store image.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
• Organizational skills and neatness.
• Efficiency in processing customer orders.

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong computer and register skills.
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
• Detail-oriented.
