• To provide prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet.
• Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers.
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers with a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data.
• Accurately accounts for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions.
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.

Merchandising:

• Ensures proper documentation regarding receipts and return of goods.
• Maintains designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.).

Loss Prevention:

• Follows loss prevention standards.
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

General:

• Presents a proper image in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code.
• Complies with health and safety regulations.
• Adheres to store policies and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping and store image standards.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
• Organization and neatness.
• Efficiency in processing customer orders.

Experience:

• Strong computer and register skills.
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
• Detail-oriented.
