As the front line of our sales team, you will be responsible for Inside Sales duties and related responsibilities such as order desk duties, inventory control (including purchasing), running daily reports, and acting upon the information from them. Shipping and receiving may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Customer Service: Provide professional, effective, and efficient solutions and customer service to a wide customer base, including inquiries, quotations, technical support, order entry, processing, follow-up, coordinating transfers, and shipping edits. Ensure daily invoicing.
- Purchasing: Collaborate with purchasing to maintain adequate inventories and restocking patterns, aiming to fulfill at least 95% of customer orders. Adapt restocking patterns to meet changing customer requirements.
- Inventory Control: Ensure timely shipment of orders, maximize inventory turns, and address slow-moving inventory issues. Keep inventories up to date and develop plans to meet inventory turn and delivery targets. Source all back orders from suppliers and branches.
- Shipping: Assist with shipping and receiving, including general warehouse duties as needed.
- Reporting: Run and review reports for discrepancies, omissions, and errors. Regularly review back order and overdue purchase order reports and address issues.
- Sales Promotion: Promote company products and source new products for existing and potential customers, supporting sales initiatives.
- Communication: Inform management of issues affecting customer service.
- Warranty and Service Support: Assist with returning warranty items to suppliers and support the service department with documentation, such as repair estimates.
Qualifications:
- Order desk and customer service experience; petroleum and/or propane equipment experience is an asset.
- College diploma in a business discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and learn new concepts and products.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in managing customer accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an asset.
- Industry experience and familiarity with SX Enterprise are assets.
