Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and thorough Portfolio Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing processes and initiatives, supporting internal continuous improvement efforts. This role requires a problem solver with strong project management skills and a focus on improving team efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio/Project Management:
    • Oversee and manage internal project portfolio, ensuring alignment with team goals.
    • Support scoping, planning, and quarterly roadmapping of initiatives.
    • Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, and deliverables; provide updates to leadership.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Process Improvement:
    • Support internal processes from estimation to closure.
    • Identify areas for enhancement and support implementation of standard methodologies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve processes.
    • Develop and track process improvement plans, measuring impact.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as primary contact for portfolio inquiries and manage stakeholder expectations.
    • Conduct regular portfolio reviews with partners for transparency and alignment.
    • Lead project teams and foster collaboration.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Portfolio, Project Management, or Process Improvement.
  • Experience leading agile initiatives; PMP and SAFe certifications are assets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office.
  • Proven track record as a Portfolio Manager or similar role managing multiple projects.

Additional Details

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $94,220 - $174,980 CAD, with local adjustments based on market conditions.
