Job summary

Bruce Nissan in Kentville, NS is seeking a dependable Porter to support daily dealership operations. This full-time, six-month contract role covers vehicle detailing, tire handling, lot maintenance and general assistance across the shop and showroom.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, detail-oriented and able to lift tires and work as part of a team. Prior automotive detailing or shop experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
• Ability to lift/move tires and perform physically demanding work.
• Dependable, positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to help and take initiative.
• Prior detailing/shop/automotive experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicles inside and out.
• Load, unload, move and organize tires.
• Assist technicians and other team members with general shop duties.
• Keep the shop, wash bay, lot and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Move and park vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot.
• Help prepare vehicles for customers and dealership use.
• Complete seasonal outdoor tasks, including snow removal and lot upkeep.
• Perform other general dealership duties as required.

Bruce Nissan is looking for a dependable and hardworking Porter to support the day-to-day operations in our dealership. This hands-on position includes a variety of duties throughout the shop and dealership, including vehicle detailing, tire handling, lot maintenance and general assistance wherever needed.

This is a full-time, six-month contract position with potential for continued employment. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things organized and is willing to help wherever needed to gain valuable hands-on experience in a busy dealership and become part of a supportive team.

What We’re Looking For
