Job summary

Nordex Canada seeks an experienced Logistics Port Operations Manager to lead port operations, laydown yards, storage facilities, and cargo handling for wind turbine projects across North America.

You will oversee receipt, storage, inventory control, and traceability while coordinating with port authorities, transport providers, and project stakeholders to meet schedules, costs, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, maritime operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in port operations or renewable energy logistics.
• 3+ years of leadership managing teams, contractors, or multi-site ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nordex Canada’s port operations strategy and oversee cargo handling.
• Manage vessel discharge, storage yards, inventory, and related interfaces.
• Develop procedures, ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel across Canada/US up to 50% and collaborate cross-functionally.
