ADI - Albert Davidson Industries in Montréal is seeking a Production Lead / Production Manager to supervise daily shop-floor operations while coordinating people, planning, and processes on a hands-on basis.

The role blends hands-on production (≈65%) with office/management (≈35%), requiring leadership, safety, quality, and clear communication within a small team. Opportunities to advance to senior production/operations roles exist.

Qualifications

• Experience as a team lead or supervisor in manufacturing.
• Hands-on shop floor experience with polyurethane or related materials.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in small teams.
• Ability to lead by example and communicate clearly.
• Comfort balancing physical work and office planning tasks.
• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, simple production tracking).
• French required; basic English an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily production: molding, casting, demolding, finishing, equipment operation.
• Set up molds, prepare materials, monitor curing, ensure quality and specs.
• Assist with loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, organize materials and finished goods.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and a safe, clean work environment.
• Plan daily/weekly production schedules with owner; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Monitor efficiency, scrap, rework, downtime; propose process improvements.
• Ensure safety rules, quality procedures, and company policies.
• Support training of new employees on processes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with office for production reporting and inventory tracking.
