Job summary

City of Red Deer is seeking a skilled Reviewer Analyst for Municipal Policing Services. The role involves daily checks of RCMP-related records, ensuring accuracy in PROS and CPIC databases, and guiding staff on records management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in police data, supervision, and compliance with Canadian statutes. This is a full-time on-site position with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• 2 years post secondary education in a related field is an asset.
• Minimum 7 years’ direct Police Officer experience with an accredited agency.
• Minimum 3 years’ operational supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain police occurrence files in PROS for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit and validate operational data, including UCR scoring, for reliable statistics.
• Identify data quality issues and coordinate corrections with RCMP supervisors.
• Provide guidance and training on records management processes and PROS usage.
• Conduct detailed research and file reviews to support investigations and requests.
