Job summary

BRP is seeking a Project Control Officer to strengthen the IT PMO by acting as a trusted partner to Project Managers and the PMO, ensuring reliable, consistent analysis of steering data for clear visibility on performance, variances and risks.

In this role you will support decision‑making, commitment compliance and adherence to PMO standards, while maintaining data quality, governance and effective reporting to the Investment & Workforce team across projects.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in project management.
• 8+ years of experience in project management; manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Mastery of traditional, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.

Responsibilities

• Act as steering partner: support PMs in planning, updating, and analyzing project plans (schedule, costs, risks).
• Ensure project data control and consistency: validate quality and reliability of progress, budgets, forecasts.
• Provide warning and advisory support: analyze variances, KPIs, risks, and drift; propose corrective actions.
• Bridge the gap between projects and the PMO: ensure compliance with PMO standards and facilitate communication.
