Job summary

Canada Life in Toronto, London or Winnipeg seeks a PMO Financial Specialist to support project forecasting and reporting. You will partner with TPMO, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate spend insights and reliable forecasts.

You will reconcile Clarity and SAP data, improve forecasting processes, and develop user guidelines and training to drive user adoption across the finance and TPMO teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification required.
• 2+ years in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Experience with PMO teams and project managers.
• Experience with project portfolio management systems, ideally Clarity.
• Understanding of PM lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with diverse data models and data sources.
• Ability to gather requirements and guide solutions from concept to implementation.
• Ability to present complex financial details to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand project financial processes from beginning to end.
• Facilitate monthly PM forecast reviews and adjustments in Clarity.
• Reconcile project spend between Clarity and SAP and address variances.
• Develop solutions to simplify project financial forecasting.
• Support bulk adjustments to project financials with TPMO and Global Technology Finance.
• Maintain user engagement; create guidelines and training materials.
