Job summary

Canada Life in Winnipeg, MB seeks a permanent, full-time Clarity Operations Manager to lead a small team of analysts and developers. You will drive delivery of enhancements to Clarity PPM, ensure data quality, and align TPMO capabilities with strategic goals.

You'll partner with TPMO leaders, manage stakeholder relationships, coach your team, and champion process improvements across project delivery and resource management. Strong communication and insurance industry knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in project management offices with production delivery responsibility.
• Experience in PMO / TPMO environments and with project portfolio management systems, especially Clarity.
• Experience defining technical requirements, solution designs, test plans and operational support docs.
• Experience with diverse data platforms, data models, and structured/unstructured data sources.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align system configuration with business objectives.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills for conveying insights and strategy through data.
• Understanding of insurance and financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Clarity Operations specialists.
• Maintain a delivery pipeline of enhancements and integrations with well-understood requirements and tested changes.
• Identify opportunities for out-of-the-box solutions to business problems.
• Lead discovery discussions and articulate feasible solutions.
• Translate requirements into clear functional/technical direction for team members.
• Maintain high user engagement and support for TPMO users.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics to ensure data quality for reports and dashboards.
• Support data quality framework for project/resource data in Clarity.
• Act as SME for Clarity (PPM) and improve adoption and data quality.
• Provide support for TPMO applications like Microsoft Planner, MS Project, Smartsheet.
• Support wider TPMO team on strategic projects and priority work.
• Monitor portfolio to identify opportunities/challenges and develop process changes.
