Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a PMO Analyst to join its Digital team in Montreal to support a portfolio of electric and gas utility projects.

You will help develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and reporting across projects, working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams. The role emphasizes strong MS Project and Excel skills, budgeting and forecasting, and the creation of dashboards with Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-4 years of experience in PMO or project analysis.
• Proficient in MS Project and Excel; knowledge of budgets and forecasting.
• Fluent in French; effective communication and organization.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and earned value analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gather input from sales, delivery, project team members, vendors, and client stakeholders to develop and maintain weekly project schedules and resource plans in MS Project; take responsibility for resource forecast accuracy across the portfolio of projects.
• Coordinate project status reporting by collecting project updates from team members, including schedule, budget, and key performance information, and ensuring that project performance data is accurate and up to date.
• Collect and analyze project performance data, maintain project budgets and EAC figures, and conduct budget-to-plan analysis to support proactive financial and schedule management.
• Manage deliverable tracking and project documentation; coordinate project meetings (agendas, minutes, action items); follow up to drive closure.
• Maintain project budget and financial figures, including monitoring actuals versus forecasts, and support Project Managers in managing project financial health.
• Validate customer invoices prior to submission and identify and follow up on past-due payments, working with internal stakeholders to support timely billing and collections.
• Support project teams in tracking and reporting project performance, including schedule adherence, budget status, and other key metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting practices.
• Contribute to the improvement and development of dashboards and reports (e.g., using Power BI) to enhance visibility into project and portfolio performance.
