Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a PMO Specialist to support governance of the Project Lifecycle by developing and maintaining management system resources, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align practices with organizational objectives and industry standards, while delivering dashboards and automation tools to drive adoption and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience in PMO, governance, or management systems within energy or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycles, documentation control, and process development.
• Proficient with Office 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Power BI development and Copilot Agent creation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Management System resources (standards, processes, templates) for Project Lifecycle.
• Create and maintain executive/project dashboards in Power BI.
• Create Copilot Agents to support project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review resources for alignment and adoption.
• Implement resources across the business with training and change management.
• Assist other functions in improving governance documentation to align with best practices.
• Contribute to continuous PMO process optimization and standardization.

Job Overview:

The PMO Specialist supports the continuous improvement and governance of our client’s Project Lifecycle by developing, implementing, and maintaining management system resources that ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all projects. This role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to align project management practices with organizational objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Management System resources—including standards, processes, procedures, and templates—to support the Project Lifecycle and specific project requirements.
• Develop executive and project dashboards in Power BI.
• Create and maintain Copilot Agents that support project teams.
• Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and validate new or revised Management System resources.
• Implement approved Management System resources across the business and support effective adoption through communication, training, and change management.
• Assist other business functions in developing or improving their documentation to ensure alignment with corporate governance and project management best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO operations by identifying opportunities for process optimization and standardization.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience in project governance, management systems, or PMO functions within the energy or infrastructure sector preferred.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, documentation control, and process development.
• Strong experience with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc).
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• PowerBI development and Copilot Agent creation is considered an asset.
