Job summary

Kent Building Supplies in Newfoundland and Labrador seeks a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers in selecting the right products and solutions. You will respond to customer needs with practical advice and promote current promotions to ensure accurate information.

Ideal candidates are friendly communicators with customer service or sales background, strong attention to detail, able to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally, and willing to work days/evenings/weekends on rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Friendly and effective communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Previous experience in customer service and/or sales.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Ability to workdays/evening/weekends (rotating shifts).
• Willing and able to learn and operate the D635 computer system used to process orders.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset.
