Job summary

JJA Mechanical is seeking a skilled service plumber to join our Surrey, BC team. You will diagnose, repair and install residential and commercial plumbing and hydronic heating systems, including furnaces and boilers.

Independence in the field with minimal supervision, strong communication, and a safety-focused approach are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in service plumbing is required.
• Hydronic heating experience and trouble shooting heating equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong, proven experience in service plumbing and/or plumbing installations.
• Have experience with heating systems and hydronics, including furnaces and boilers. The ability to troubleshoot and service heating equipment is a must.
• Drain cleaning skill experience with the confidence to diagnose and clear blockages independently.
• Work independently in the field with minimal supervision while remaining organized, efficient, and dependable.
• Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve plumbing and heating issues.
• Deliver exceptional, customer-focused service with professionalism and clear communication.
• Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the team.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial plumbing system.
• Collaborate effectively with office staff and fellow technicians while also being capable of working independently.
• Adhere to all applicable safety standards, plumbing codes, and company procedures.
