Job summary

Upper Canada Child Care is seeking an Assistant Educator for the Keswick location, W.J Watson PS, to join our team in a full-time supply role (approx. 30 hours/week).

The successful candidate must be available for split shifts in before and after school programs, or full-day shifts Monday to Friday. We are a nonprofit licensed provider offering competitive compensation, wage enhancement grants, paid training, and opportunities for growth within our large, growing organization.

Qualifications

• CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based learning.
• Experience with inquiry/play-based program design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support program delivery in line with Ministry guidelines.
• Engage with children and provide positive learning experiences.
• Communicate with parents about program and child progress.
• Complete daily logs and administrative tasks.
• Use Storypark for documentation and program development.
