Job summary

Novacap is seeking a Manager of Business Applications to act as Product Owner for a portfolio of back-office and middle-office SaaS platforms, including CRM, ERP and operational tools. You will define platform roadmaps, establish governance, manage vendor relationships, and lead both on-site and offshore teams to ensure reliable, well-governed systems aligned with firm priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, MIS, business administration or related field.
Five to eight years of experience with business applications, including at least two years as product owner or platform owner for SaaS systems.
Demonstrated experience administering CRM and ERP platforms; familiarity with DealCloud, Allvue, iLevel or NetSuite is a strong asset.
Experience leading vendor negotiations, contract renewals and service-level management.
People leadership experience, including coaching direct reports and coordinating offshore or outsourced teams.
Working knowledge of application governance: access controls, data integrity, change management and integration tooling such as Workato.
Strong documentation discipline and ability to build accessible knowledge bases for vendor and technical information.
Ability to translate business reporting needs into analytics and deliverables for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Platform ownership for a portfolio of SaaS platforms, including roadmaps and governance.
Lead intake for new requests and document business needs to inform prioritization.
Maintain governance frameworks across the application portfolio.
Provide end-user support and maintain centralized vendor documentation.
Lead vendor negotiations and manage contract renewals and service levels.
Oversee offshore team support and foster accountability across the team.
Deliver data-driven analytics and monthly reconciliations for investment decisions.
