Job summary

Woodbine Entertainment Group is seeking a Platform Engineer, Dynamics (F&O) to maintain the Dynamics platform, design initiatives, and develop integrations across modules. You will document software specifications and lead upgrades throughout the production lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a college diploma or university degree in CS or software engineering, 5+ years in D365 with certifications, and hands-on experience with X++, AX, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with D365 and Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
• Proficiency in X++, AX, C#, .NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with Web Services and XML.
• Specialization in Finance, Supply Chain, or Integration/Security.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs within Dynamics 365 F&O platform.
• Plan SDLC phases and document software requirements.
• Lead design initiatives and implement integrations across modules.
• Coach junior developers and collaborate with IT teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce custom coding.

The Platform Engineer, Dynamics (F&O) maintains the F&O platform, leads the design initiatives, builds new customizations, fixes bugs, and works on integrations with other modules. The technical side includes researching, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Understand limitations and functional capabilities of out of the box functionality as well as custom code
• Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without the development of custom code
• Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
• Liaise with other technical teams, network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
• Manage and/or provide guidance to junior software developers and research assistants.
• identify business requirements and match them with technological capabilities and with Microsoft's continuous release plans

Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering
• 5+ years of experience within D365 and certifications in professional Microsoft Dynamics or other relevant technologies
• X++, AX, Entity Framework, C#, .NET, SQL Server, Web Services, XML Specialization in one/more of Finance; Supply Chain; Integration; Security

Salary range: The target hiring salary range for this position is $82,000 - $95,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation. Final placement within the range depends on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
