Job summary

Hunter Bond in Montreal is seeking a Software Developer to join the infrastructure team, building platforms, automation and tooling that keep production systems running reliably at scale. You will design and operate Python backend services on a Kubernetes-based platform, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help migrate workloads onto Kubernetes with mentorship from senior engineers.

• Self-directed, proactive approach; drive projects forward.

They're hiring a Software Developer to join their infrastructure team to help build the platforms, automation and tooling that keep the firm's production systems running reliably at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and building backend services and infrastructure tooling in Python
• Developing and operating applications on a predominantly Kubernetes-based platform

• Working with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ to support distributed, message-driven systems

• Driving your own initiatives and contributing directly to architecture and design decisions — not just picking up tickets
