Job summary

DRW Montreal is seeking a passionate Software Developer to join our infrastructure team. You will build reliable backend services, tooling and automation to support engineering and production systems in a predominantly Kubernetes-based environment.

You will design and operate applications on Kubernetes, work with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineers and infrastructure specialists to solve challenging technical problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of experience building and operating software systems.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing and best practices.
• Self-directed, proactive and able to drive work forward independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A collaborative team player and passionate problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with observability practices and tools is an asset.

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our infrastructure team. This software-focused role involves building the services, platforms and automation that support our engineering teams and production systems. You will develop reliable backend software, improve developer workflows and help operate scalable infrastructure in a predominantly Kubernetes-based environment.
