Job summary

Tetra Trust Company in Toronto leads regulated digital asset infrastructure. We seek a platform-focused engineer to own end-to-end platform ownership, from infrastructure as code to deployment and observability, reporting to the Head of Engineering/CTO and collaborating with security, compliance, and operations teams.

You will define and improve how we build, deploy, observe, secure, and recover our trusted systems inside a licensed custody platform, with emphasis on reliability and audit

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Deep AWS networking, IAM, multi-account architecture.
• Fluent in infrastructure as code; Terraform as a first language.
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes/ECS in production.
• Secrets and identity management experience.
• Incident maturity; written postmortems and fixes.
• You write scripts and tooling used by other engineers.
• Strong communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as code end to end.
• CI/CD and deployment safety with progressive rollout and safe rollback.
• Observability: metrics, logs, traces, alarms and runbooks.
• Secrets, access, and key material boundaries with KMS/HSM/Vault.
• Design controls: peer approvals, break-glass procedures, immutable audit logs.
• Resilience and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Automated compliance evidence generation.
