Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Canada is seeking a Material Handler for the afternoon shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM).

You will operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment, pull and verify products, and ensure safe, clean processing areas in a fast-paced setting. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years of machine operation, Plate Saw experience, reading/writing ability, and the capacity to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years machine operation experience preferred.
• Plate Saw experience is a must (metal preferred).
• Ability to read and write; basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs; manual dexterity.
• Use of handheld measuring tools essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment according to work order specifications.
• Perform quality checks and record measurements.
• Train others when required and support lean initiatives.
• Complete production/productivity logs and maintain clean, safe workspace.
