Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Basic math, geometry, and fractions.
• Ability to solve problems with good judgment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour continental shift, 7 days bi-weekly.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lay out work assignments and accomplish them with maximum efficiency.
• Operate cutting saws and pipe bending machines.
• Set up and operate automatic and manual pipe bending machines.
• Control and sort regrind materials.
• Operate strapping equipment and air nailers.
• Pack products according to packaging specs.
• Perform operator quality inspection checks.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow 5S principles.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the position.
• Work under supervision and follow safety policies.
• Occasionally perform other tasks as directed.
